We’d like to help everyone do their part to keep Gladstone looking good, staying safe, and remaining a place we’re proud to call home, so as you get started on yard work and outdoor projects, here are a few things to keep in mind: 🌿Yard & Property Care Keep grass clippings out of the street — they lead to clogged storm drains and fuel algae growth when washed into the lagoon system. Trim trees and shrubs that hang over streets, alleys, or sidewalks. Keep ditches and culverts clear for proper drainage. Control noxious weeds and maintain lawns. Store unused items neatly to reduce clutter and discourage rodents. Keep pets contained and clean up after them. 🚮Garbage Containers & Litter Secure garbage containers so they don’t tip, blow away, or scatter debris. Do not place containers on the street, the truck can reach them on the boulevard. Retrieve containers promptly after trash collection. Do not place yard waste in alleys or streets. 🚸Safety & Courtesy Drive slowly—kids are out biking, walking, and playing. Watch for pedestrians near parks, mailboxes, and walking along the street. Be mindful of noise early in the morning and late in the evening. 📒 Seasonal Ordinance Reminders Please take a moment to review the ordinances below.
