Spring is here, and so are new landfill hours!
The landfill will be open Saturdays from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM beginning Saturday, April 4th. Only the following items will be accepted:
🌲 Clean‑burning waste: trees, branches, raw wood
🍂 Yard waste: grass, leaves, pine needles, pine cones
🧱 Concrete, bricks, rocks
🔧 Scrap metal: cable must be cut into 3‑ft sections or shorter
The roll‑off is scheduled to arrive mid‑April. Once it’s in place, the landfill will reopen on Wednesday evenings in addition to Saturdays, and acceptable waste will expand to include the items permitted by MGM in the roll‑off.
