PUBLIC NOTICE

The Gladstone City Council will consider a proposed ordinance amending Sections 4.0405 and 4.0406 of the Municipal Code, relating to the detonation and sale of fireworks. The ordinance will move through the following steps:

• First Reading: Monday, August 3, 2026 – 6PM

• Second Reading: Monday, September 14, 2026 – 6PM

• Final Passage: Monday, October 5, 2026 – 6PM

  
  

All readings will take place at Gladstone City Hall during the regular monthly meetings of the Gladstone City Council.

The proposed amendment would permit fireworks to be detonated within city limits during the following times:

• June 27th through July 3rd between 8AM and 10:30PM

• July 4th from 8AM to 11:59PM

• December 31st at 3PM through January 1st at 2AM
